Campaigning for: Insurance Commissioner

Janice Laws Robinson did not respond to the questionnaire.

A native of Jamaica, Laws Robinson has been in the insurance business more than 20 years and also is an author. She ran for insurance commissioner in 2018 but lost in the general election. If elected, she says she will work to change predatory practices and develop insurance reforms. She vows to fight for affordable premiums, saying Georgians’ auto insurance rates have skyrocketed out of control. She says she’ll press legislators to cap rate increases and stop predatory underwriting practices. She says she’ll go after insurance companies that attempt to defraud seniors, veterans and others.
