Erika Mitchell was first elected in 2017. In Nov. 2021, she beat Raynard Johnson with 72.5% of the vote and in 2017 with 63% of vote. Mitchell works as the vice president of business development for ChanceLight Education, which contracts with public school districts and other educational institutions to provide special education programs.
