Be Love Campaign

“What is needed is a realization that power without love is reckless and abusive and that love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice. Justice at its best is love correcting everything that stands against love.”

In conjunction with our Be Love campaign, The King Center presents a 3-part training series that will feature a study of this quote and other Kingian teachings that can help us ‘Be Love’ to create the Beloved Community.

Revolutionary Love: Dr. King said, “A social movement that only moves people is merely a revolt. A movement that changes both people and institutions is a revolution.” He also asserted that we need “a revolution of values.” This session explores both quotes, and Dr. King’s teachings on love, to provide insight on the revolutionary power of love.
