Meredith edits Atlanta Civic Circle. Now an independent writer and editor, she’s worked for both traditional newspapers and startup news organizations over her career. Her first daily newspaper job was at the Buenos Aires Herald. Later, she reported on Chinese business news in Chicago for an online publication called, fittingly, ChinaOnline, back when China was joining the WTO and online news sites were a brand new thing. After a stint in San Francisco as an editor for a dotcom startup, Guru.com, she returned to Atlanta and daily newspaper reporting at the Fulton County Daily Report, where she covered the local legal community. She’s still hoping to return to Key West and live on a sailboat.
