Bruce joined the state House in 2003. He sits on the powerful budget-writing House Appropriations Committee. His website says he is focused on issues related to children with special needs, the aging, education, working families, economic development, voting rights, and criminal justice. That includes things like a 2017 bill that would have allowed voters to cast their ballot at any precinct in their county.
