WHERE can I find information about the 2 candidates for DeKalb County Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisor?
Also information about Constitutional amendments? This kind of detailed information is what is needed.
The only thing I can find with any information is this guide (it is heavily biased): https://decaturish.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/October-November-2022-election.pdf
Hi Patricia
the position is an obscure position created after the dust bowl. It is unpaid. In rural areas it educates farmers on the best way to conserve soil and keep rivers clean. In urban areas, it is more about working with city and county governments about construction run off. There were two positions open this year, and two people on the ballot.
