Dozens of pro-Palestine demonstrators marched through Kennesaw State University’s campus last week, waving Palestinian flags and demanding a permanent ceasefire and end to occupation in Palestine. Protestors chanted “Genocide Joe has got to go,” and “Not another nickel, not another dime, no more money for Israel’s crimes,” during the roughly 90-minute demonstration that ended at KSU’s Green.
There was no visible police presence during the demonstration at KSU unlike at another pro-Palestine protest the same day at Emory University, where the administration called on Emory and Atlanta police, and the Georgia State Patrol to forcibly arrest protestors who’d set up a tent encampment.
